With less than a week in hand for the first-ever two-night SummerSlam PLE, the lineup is almost set by the biggest wrestling promotion in the world.
We’re here with WWE SummerSlam 2025 spoilers and predictions on winners for the confirmed card so far.
Scheduled at the MetLife Stadium in NJ, the event will be hosted on August 2 and 3 from 6 PM ET onwards in the US.
WWE SummerSlam 2025 Spoilers and Predictions on Winners
1) John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes: Undisputed WWE Championship Street Fight Match
With the street fight stipulation, the excitement for the match is way higher. Seth Rollins being injured guarantees we won’t see any cash-in at the event.
Cena, being the heel, needs support this time to defeat the American Nightmare at SummerSlam, or else we could see a new champion crowned at the MetLife Stadium.
Prediction: John Cena wins (51%)/CodyRhodes wins (49%)
2) Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill: WWE Women’s Championship Match
Jade earned her title shot by becoming the Queen of the Ring, and the stage is set for her to finally become the face of the company.
At SummerSlam 2025, I believe the chances are really strong that Tiffany Stratton loses her title, and we could finally see Jade as the new face of the women’s division.
Prediction: Jade Cargill wins the WWE Women’s Championship.
3) Naomi vs. Iyo Sky vs. Rhea Ripley: WWE Women’s World Championship Triple-Threat Match
Naomi, after a heel turn, cashed in the contract at Evolution to become the women’s world champ, and at SummerSlam, we don’t see her dropping off the title that soon.
Iyo and Rhea, being on the babyface side, might once again need to face a heartbreak at SummerSlam.
Prediction: Naomi retains the women’s world championship.
4) Randy Orton and Jelly Roll vs. Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre
Considering the team power, it’s definitely Drew and Loga who form a strong duo, but the celebrity support for Randy Orton adds more strength to his team.
We don’t generally see the celebrities losing matches in Ple’s, if they’re invited. But this time things may change.
Drew and Logan could easily rip off their challengers to grab the win at SummerSlam.
Prediction: Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul win.
5) Becky Lynch vs. Lyra Valkyria: WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship No DQ, No Countout Match
Finally, a no-disqualification and no-countout match has been booked between the two ladies following their recent confrontations.
If Lyra loses, she won’t challenge for the title ever again; that is the term decided, and the same is likely to happen.
We think Bayley might upset Lyra by aiding Becky in this match.
Prediction: Becky Lynch retains

6) Gunther vs. CM Punk: WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match
Gunther doesn’t seem to lose the World Heavyweight title this soon. Punk, eager for the WWE title, might need to wait a little more.
Cena retaining is what we predicted, and if it happens, Punk might go on to chase Cena once again for the Undisputed title.
Prediction: Gunther retainsÂ

7) Dominik Mysterio vs. AJ Styles: WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
The Phenomenal One might try to get over Dominik, but the Finn-Dominik rivalry is still to take place.
At some point in the future, this will happen for sure, and for this, Dominik needs to retain the title at SummerSlam.
Prediction: Dominik Mysterio retains.
8) Solo Sikoa vs. Jacob Fatu: WWE United States Championship Steel Cage Match
Solo, with support from Talla Tonga, Tonga Loa, and JC Mateo, is dominant in this steel cage match.
Despite Jacob’s strong dominating nature, he still would lack the strength to win the title, considering the strength of Solo’s team.
Despite the result, this match will be one of the key highlights of the event for sure.
Prediction: Solo Sikoa retains.
9) Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez vs. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss: WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair together form a deadly duo, and the recent form of Judgment Day doesn’t hint at any further reign in the tag team department.
Charlotte and Alexa are to be crowned as the new Women’s Tag Team Champions, which is what we predict.
Prediction: Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss win tag team titles.
