WWE SummerSlam 2025 has now become the second biggest PLE of the promotion, as it has the same level of hype and storylines as that of WrestleMania 41.
Today, we’ll be covering WWE SummerSlam 2025 Results Predictions for Night 1 matches to find out who stays on top, who fails, and who returns.
WWE Summerslam 2025 Results Predictions for Night 1
A total of 6 matches are confirmed for Night 1 of SummerSlam under Triple H’s guidance, and the results predictions for which are as follows:
1) Gunther vs. CM Punk: WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match
Seth Rollins’s knee injury has paved the way for Punk to enter the title picture once again, and I believe this is the moment for the best in the world to get his hands on the title.
Punk, from my side, is the favourite to win this match and become the new champion, but if Seth’s injury was merely a storyline angle, then we could see him cash in the Money in the Bank contract to become the new champ.
Leaving the ifs and buts aside, Punk is our predicted winner against Gunther on August 2.
Winner: CM Punk
2) Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill: WWE Women’s Championship Match
No doubt Tiffany is one of the most loved champions in the women’s division, but I think the time has come for a transition for the Women’s Title.
There’s no other better superstar than Jade Cargill for Tiffany to lose her title to.
Jade, after becoming the new women’s champion, could go after Bianca Belair, creating new storylines in the future.
Winner: Jade Cargill
3) Randy Orton and Jelly Roll vs. Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre
Randy teaming up with Jelly Roll just for the insult that Logan did at the rockstar’s hometown doesn’t make much sense to me.
Randy has been sidelined once again, and at WWE SummerSlam 2025, we might see Paul and McIntyre walking out as the winners of this match.
Winners: Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul
4) Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez vs. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss: WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
In my opinion, the time has come for WWE to move past this Judgment Day storyline.
Now that Liv Morgan is absent, if Charlotte and Alexa make sure to win the tag titles, then there can’t be any better opportunity for creating a storyline that leads to a breakup between The Judgement Day members.
Winners: Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss
Next in our WWE SummerSlam 2025 Results Predictions for Night 1, we have:
5) Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed
Breaker and Reed demolished Roman and Jey at the latest Raw episode, but that doesn’t mean the same will repeat at Summerslam.
Roman vs. Bron is something that’s popping in my mind, and I think WWE might go after this plan by letting Bronson Reed take the pin, keeping Bron Breakker’s image as a strong character.
Winners: Roman Reigns and Jey Uso
6) Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross
Karrion Kross had the dominant hand in this rivalry, whether it be in the ring or playing mind games with Sami.
But this time, I think WWE might let Sami be the last man standing in this contest to develop a further base for their rivalry.
Winner: Sami Zayn
