WWE has just completed their Survivor Series Wargames, and after getting mixed reactions from fans across the world, WWE has shifted their gears to focus more on the upcoming WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event 2024.
WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event 2024 card is being booked by WWE a week after WWE, as we already have Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens for the undisputed WWE championship at the event.
Now two more huge matches have been booked by WWE for Saturday Night’s main event, which is as follows:

Gunther vs. Finn Balor
At Survivor Series 2024, Finn Balor interrupted the World Heavyweight Championship match between Gunther and Damien Priest as he attacked Damien.
Gunther was successful in retaining his championship against Damien Priest, but he wasn’t happy about the interference caused by Finn and also attacked him for the frustration he caused.
At the December 2 Monday Night Raw, we saw a backstage interaction between Gunther and Finn Balor where Gunther gave Dominik Mysterio a chance to face him by disrespecting Finn.
Gunther easily defeated Dominik, and post-match, Finn came out of nowhere and attacked the world heavyweight champion with a hat trick of his finishers.
This rivalry has now taken the form of a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at WWE Saturday Night’s main event 2024.
Liv Morgan vs. Iyo Sky
Iyo Sky has been the number 1 contender for Liv Morgan’s women’s world title, and both were on opposite teams at the Survivor Series Wargames match too.
Now the promotion has made the match for the WWE women’s World championship official between Liv Morgan and Iyo Sky.
