WWE Money in the Bank Results: Drew McIntyre lost his contract 

WWE Money in the Bank shaped really well as we saw an amazing men’s ladder match. Drew McIntyre was the one to grab the briefcase by climbing the ladder. 

He was ready to cash in the contract and grab back his World Heavyweight title, but due to the interference of CM Punk, he again lost his title and the opportunity that the briefcase provides. 

This segment has made the rivalry between Drew and two superstars more tensed and heated. It would be amazing to check out their upcoming one-on-one battle.

Drew McIntyre’s hunger for the World Heavyweight Championship 

Drew McIntyre made it clear that he wanted to win the money in the bank contract and cash in on the same night to retain his title, but that was not possible due to the interference of CM Punk while his title shot.

Drew lost his mind after the loss of his contract, was destroying everything that was coming in his way, and was searching for CM Punk on the backstage stage.

Damien Priest vs. Seth Rollins: World Heavyweight Championship 

Seth Rollins accepted the challenge of Damien Priest for the World Heavyweight title and agreed to never come back for a title match if Damien Priest is the title holder. The match between the two superstars was intense, as both of them gave their level best to each other.

Drew McIntyre appeared out of nowhere and cashed in his money in the bank contract. The match became a triple-threat match, with Drew aiming to get his title back from Damien Priest. But things didn’t go well for him at the Money in the Bank 2024 main event.

CM Punk’s interference at Drew McIntyre’s Cash in 

As soon as Drew cashed in his Money in the Bank contract, cm punk appeared strategically and distracted Drew. Drew was looking frustrated and angry as soon as he saw Punk, but Punk managed to provide Damien Priest with an opportunity to get the momentum of the match back.

Damien Priest gave his finisher move and retained his world heavyweight championship back against both of them. And once again, a new chapter has been added to the ongoing rivalry between Punk and McIntyre. 

This distraction by punk has cost McIntyre a sure-shot title opportunity, and we can see his desire to beat CM Punk after the match.

At backstage, Drew destroyed everyone and everything coming his way and was searching for Punk once and again. 

The future of this rivalry between Punk and McIntyre 

WWE is known for its interesting and surprising storylines, and it seems to be happening now too with the ongoing feud between Drew and Punk. WWE might finalize a match between the two Superstars once Punk gets medically cleared from his triceps injury.

We can witness this match on the upcoming WWE pay-per-view. WWE SummerSlam has the highest possibility of hosting this most anticipated and awaited match.
