In August 2025, there aren’t any big updates by WWE 2K25, and there’s no DLC planned for the month. The next DLC is planned for September 17, 2025.
But we have some latest updates for the game and around the upcoming 2K Mobile game, the WWE 2K26 release date and more.
So today we’ve covered some of the latest news about WWE 2K25’s new Summer Series Event & Rewards, 2K Mobile, MyFaction, Torrie Wilson’s update on 2K26 and the 2K26 release date.
WWE 2K25 Summer Series Event & Rewards
Recently, WWE 2K25 has announced a special Summer Series Event in MyFaction with increased daily rewards for gamers.
Along with this, if the WWE 2K25 gamers log in for 5 out of 7 days of the week, then they may get rewarded with a specific card.
This login rewards offer is valid for the 2K25 users from August 11, 2025, to September 9, 2025.
Players will receive the following rewards on each day of the week.
- Mondays: 1,000 MFP
- Tuesdays: Two Faction Wars tickets
- Wednesdays: 1,500 MFP
- Thursdays: A Superstar Series 3 card pack
- Fridays: 3,000 MFP
- Saturdays: 40 Tokens
For Sundays, you’ll get the following rewards as per each week.
Week 1: SummerSlam Volume 1 Pack
Week 2: SummerSlam Volume 2 Pack
Week 3: New Heatwave Pack
Week 4: SummerSlam Volume 1
If you log in five out of seven days for each week, then you’ll get Amethyst version cards of various characters, which are
For week 1: Amethyst Lyra Valkyria card
Week 2: Amethyst Eddie Guerrero Card
Week 3: Diamond Tiffany Stratton
Week 4: Diamond Uncle Howdy
So don’t miss these rewards, as they’re only available until September 9, 2025.
WWE 2K26 Release Date Update
Last week, 2K held their Quarterly earnings report where they talked about WWE 2K26 is going as per the process and will be released as originally planned for fiscal year 2026, which is around March 31, 2026.
The Take-Two president, Karl Slatoff, said the following about WWE 2k26, “LATER THIS FISCAL YEAR, 2K AND VISUAL CONCEPTS WILL ONCE AGAIN CHALLENGE PLAYERS TO STEP INTO THE SQUARED CIRCLE WITH WWE 2K26. THE FORTHCOMING INSTALMENT IN OUR POPULAR WRESTLING FRANCHISE THAT CONTINUES TO SET NEW STANDARDS FOR EXCELLENCE WITH EACH RELEASE.”
“2K WILL HAVE MORE TO SHARE ABOUT THE GAME IN THE COMING MONTHS.”
WWE 2K Mobile Update
WWE 2K Mobile was announced at the start of 2025, in partnership with Netflix Games, but since its announcement, we haven’t had any major updates from the developers.
But during the 2K earnings reports, it was noticed that the 2K mobile game is still slated to release in fall 2025.
So be ready; within the next 4 months, we can get the mobile version of our favourite game.
Torrie Wilson in WWE 2k26?
Torrie Wilson, who was last seen in the SmackDown vs Raw 2008 game, is one of the most talked-about Superstars to be included in the 2k games but hasn’t yet made it to the franchise yet.
During her recent interview with Wrestlezone, she was asked if she got an offer from 2k; in response, she said, “THEY HAVE NOT. FOR THE LONGEST TIME. I KIND OF LIKE DIDN’T REALLY PAY ATTENTION TO IT. RIGHT? NEVER EXPECTED IT. BUT THEN WHEN I WASN’T IN WHEN I WAS IN THE HALL OF FAME. I WAS LIKE. OKAY. THAT KIND OF SUCKS, BUT WHATEVER.”
“IT WASN’T UNTIL THIS YEAR WHEN I FINALLY ASKED SOMEBODY AT WWE LIKE. HOW COME? SO HOPEFULLY. FINGERS CROSSED. NEXT YEAR.”
She revealed a slight hint about her inclusion in the game under WWE 2k26.
