WWE 2K25 Shutdown Date Officially Announced!

It’s just been 6 months since the release of 2K25 on major platforms like PS5 and Xbox Series, and now the shutdown date for the game has been officially announced by 2K.

But don’t worry; they have provided some good time space for users to enjoy the game until it disappears.

[Note: The WWE 2K25 shutdown date is only announced for online gaming; offline gaming can still be done normally even after the online shutdown.]

WWE 2K25 Shutdown Date (Online)

A couple of months ago, the WWE 2K25 Nintendo Switch 2 version was released, and the game was recently made part of the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium September 2025 list. And now it is set for an online shutdown on March 14, 2027.

Yes, you’ve heard it right. From March 14, 2027, WWE 2K25 will go completely offline, and online gameplay won’t be accessible for anyone.

This info was revealed by the WWE 2K Online Service Status Page. You have almost one and a half years in hand to enjoy the game online.

So you now only have 1.5 years left to enjoy the online multiplayer modes, create characters in community creations, and grab the most trophies you can. 

Offline services will continue after March 14, 2027, where you can enjoy the game modes like MyGM, Showcase, MyRise, and Universe.

Considering the hype of the game, it’s not fair for gamers to have a mere 2-year window for online gameplay, especially for the Nintendo Switch 2 users who got the game late compared to PS5 and Xbox users.

Switch 2 users paid the same $70 for the game, even though they got the game 4 months after other platforms, and now they have less time left to enjoy the game.
