Finally, after years of waiting, Nintendo fans can enjoy a wrestling game with WWE 2K25.
With our WWE 2K25 Nintendo Switch 2 Review, we have covered all the major aspects of the game on the device, like performance, gameplay, and drawbacks, and have posted a final verdict too.
After the failure of WWE 2k18 on the Switch device, 2k Games has created a game that is said to be one of the best games since the N64 and GameCube era in wrestling.
WWE 2K25 Nintendo Switch 2 Review

We have divided the WWE 2K25 Nintendo Switch 2 review into two parts. One will consist of its good points, while the other will highlight the drawbacks.
WWE 2K25 Switch 2 Positives
New Gen Power in Switch 2
To provide a new feel, the game developers have created a PS5/Xbox Series version of WWE 2K25 for Switch 2.
Also, the game in Nintendo Switch 2 includes “The Island” mode, which was even absent in PS4 and Xbox One.
Unreal Gameplay
The gameplay of 2K25 with 60 fps, even in 8-man tag matches, works smoothly, and the loading times are quick.
Visual Delight

The overall visual experience of the game in Switch 2 is commendable.
The entrance of the superstars looks detailed. There’s a slight downgrade when we compare it to PS5 and XSX in terms of arena backgrounds and crowd appearance.
Complete Package Available
All modes and match types similar to PS5 and Xbox are available in the Switch 2 version of the game, which makes it even more special.
Myrise career, Showcase, Universe—everything is included. Even the new additions, like Bloodline Rules matches and intergender clashes, are included.
The Island Outperforms
This adventurous mode has turned out to be an old-school delight for the fans.
Unlock crazy wrestlers and equip them with apparel received after completing tasks.
A True Wrestling Game for Switch 2
After 8 years of waiting and disappointment, now fans can enjoy a great WWE game on Nintendo Switch 2 hardware without it getting broken like before.
Now, let’s discuss the negatives of the game under the second part of our WWE 2K25 Nintendo Switch 2 review.
WWE 2K25 Switch 2 Negatives
A dip in frame rates impacts gameplay

During the close-up shots, the frame rate drops to 30 fps, which is half of the original one, which impacts split-second timings for reversals (X button on switch 2) and pin escape mini-games, which overall makes the experience harder.
MyFaction Monetisation Disappointment
Fans are criticising the persona system of card-collecting mode.
The outfits locked behind persona cards are becoming extremely difficult to unlock with regular play; it requires significant money, and the player needs to have top-level skills to overcome the challenges.
The outfits that are locked appear on Switch 2 as “??????” in all the different modes of WWE 2K25.
At the time of writing, 51 roster slots are locked as “?????” Under the Bloodline Edition, which costs around $130.
No Cross-Platform Features

Your progress on other platforms in MyRise, MyFaction, and Universe mode doesn’t get carried to Switch 2, which means you need to start completely fresh, which has annoyed many gamers, to be honest.
The custom image upload feature is not available on Switch 2, which keeps players away from accessing the different user-developed wrestlers from PS5/XSX.
Huge blow to Custom Creation
The lack of an image upload feature has impacted the creativity of users in community creations of Switch 2.
Final Verdict on WWE 2K25 Nintendo Switch 2 Version
The limitations, apart from the Image Uploader feature, are not major concerns for the fans; that’s why the game has received an overall positive reaction from the players worldwide.
The smooth gameplay, great graphics, and huge depth in content have made the Switch 2 version a hit globally.
If we compare it with 2k18 on Switch, this game is a boon for all the Nintendo lovers. We rate this game a solid 4/5.
However, the Switch 2 developers should update things related to MyFaction and remove cross-platform limitations to make the game even more enjoyable for Switch 2 players.
