WWE 2K25 is throwing huge blow after blow for their gamers, as after the recent Nintendo Switch 2 version missed the “Image Uploader Feature,” now the real reason behind Travis Scott’s removal from DLC is revealed.
WWE 2K25 Celebrity DLC for the New Wave Pack was planned to have a celebrity DLC character in the form of Travis Scott, but was first postponed and later replaced.
As of the latest insider update, Travis Scott won’t feature in WWE 2K25.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Insider confirmed the news that Travis Scott was initially planned for the WWE 2K25 Celebrity DLC but was cancelled due to a huge falling out with the company.
Scott was part of WWE WrestleMania 41, where he helped Cena win the match. While attacking Cody, he unintentionally injured The American Nightmare’s eye, which led to a backstage heatup moment, according to the reports.
WWE 2K25 Travis Scott as Celebrity DLC for New Wave Pack
WWE 2K25 released its New Wave DLC pack on May 14, where Travis Scott was planned as the celebrity guest, but the DLC celebrity character wasn’t revealed at that time.
After that, “The Dunk and Destruction Pack” was released, and yet there wasn’t any update around the Travis Scott DLC character.
Later, WWE 2K25 just shockingly announced that the Celebrity DLC Character for the new wave pack is being replaced by El Grande Americano.
WWE Gamers are disappointed and are angry over the fact that they paid for the New Wave Pack and didn’t get the Celebrity DLC Character, and got El Grande Americano instead, which could have been easily included in the roster.

Travis Scott – WWE Storyline
Travis played a huge part in turning Cena heel at WrestleMania 41. The Rock also helped Cena turn dark.
Scott attacked Cody and helped Cena in the 17th record title win and was even planning to train for pro wrestling so that he could fit into the future storyline, but now everything seems to be falling apart.
So, this was the reason behind the WWE 2K25 Celebrity DLC Character being removed from 2K25.
