Some of the latest insights about Ashante “Thee” Adonis‘s WWE contract have emerged, where his official contract expiration date is said to be 10 August 2025.
Now, new reports are hinting at TNA eyeing the signing of the former WWE star.

Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis Contract Expiration
The latest reports from top sources confirm that the exit of Ashante was a case of his WWE contract not being renewed rather than a release.
The report suggests that the star was made aware of his departure a couple of weeks ago, and now that he’s not under the contract, he can join any independent circuit.
Also, a benefit for the star is that he’s not under the 90-day non-compete clause, so he can go with other promotions.
NXT Mates appreciated Adonis
Ashante was under the main roster contract, but despite that, he spent his last year in WWE NXT.
Some of the Fightful journalists spoke with NXT sources who praised the star.
The NXT insiders appreciated the hard work and work ethic of the star, plus they also liked his efforts to improve his wrestling game, and his performance center work was also liked by them.

Ashante is now a free agent, and we already know that he has competed in one-off matches in TNA in January 2025.
The latest insight by Fightful Select suggests that some of the insiders of TNA are already interested in Adonis and want him to make appearances in the promotion.
