TNA just dropped a huge spoiler for the world title match during their TNA Impact TV tapings on August 16, 2025.

As per the taping segment, we could soon have an official update around the first match for the TNA Bound for Glory 2025 card.

Trick Williams could be seen defending the TNA world title against Mike Santana on October 12.

TNA conducted tapings for the August 21 and 28 episodes, where Mike Santana teamed up with Steve Maclin to take on Trick Williams and AJ Francis.

Mike Santana was the one to complete the pin on Williams to secure the win for his team.

TNA tried to include Trick’s contract angle during the tapings. Earlier in the tapings, Trick talked about his contract and mentioned that he won’t wrestle for the next 50 days in TNA.

After Williams lost the match to Santana, another promo where Santino Marella was about to announce the match between the two was spotted, but the TNA director of authority was attacked by someone unknown, and it is claimed that he was none other than the lawyer of Williams.

So it’s not official yet, but we can surely expect Trick Williams vs. Mike Santana for the TNA World title at Bound for Glory 2025.

Earlier on the tapings, Mike Santana confronted the TNA champ before their match, where he stated that whether it’s NXT or TNA, he’ll beat Williams for the title.
