“I’m in the best mind state that I’ve been in a really long time,” Shotzi stated when asked about how she’s doing right now.

The release wasn’t a shock due to the 9-month injury and limited time on WWE TV after shifting to SmackDown.

She stated, “It didn’t come as a shock to me… I was just like, ‘Okay, now I get to work.’”

Shotzi also revealed that WWE teased her SmackDown storyline with Chelsea Green, telling her, “Okay, we’re going to run with this storyline.”

However, plans were scrapped week after week. “They had teased that I would start something with Chelsea… it just never happened.”

Shotzi realized that her contract might not get renewed as her role in the storyline was drastically cut. She said, “I started to think, like, ‘Oh, maybe they’re not going to reassign me.’”

Short SmackDown Appearances

While talking about SmackDown– she appeared at multiple tapings, with her appearance being removed at the last minute.

The star said, “Every time I would come in, it was cut.”

The WWE star was trapped in creative ignorance, with her injury playing a major role in keeping her 9 months away from the action.

The WWE release and injury scenario allowed her the time to view this scenario not as an ending but as a fresh reset for her career.

She’s positive and feels confident, which paves the way for her upcoming future.

“I feel just hopeful for the future,” Shotzi affirmed, showing us her positivity in life and looking forward to the amazing experiences in the forthcoming future.
