Àngel de Oro and Niebla Roja won the NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team titles on Friday in Arena Mexico.
The former tag champions TJP and Templario failed to defend their titles at CMLL Super Viernes 2025.
The match lasted 15 minutes, and during the last moments of the match, Templario suffered a right leg injury and was out of action. TJP raised the hands of the new champions, Àngel de Oro and Niebla Roja.
Since their tag title win on May 9, 2025, at NJPW Resurgence, TJP and Templario were unbeaten, but at CMLL Super Viernes, they lost their tag titles.
