In 2025, WWE skipped their traditional draft event and has been smoothly moving superstars between Raw and SmackDown.
Two of the top WWE superstars have now been officially drafted between Raw and SmackDown.

Two Top Superstars Officially Drafted between WWE Raw and SmackDown
LA Knight Officially Drafted to Raw
Firstly, LA Knight entered and interrupted Seth Rollins’ promo at Raw after SummerSlam and provided hints for his move to WWE Raw.
Later, he made multiple appearances on WWE Raw episodes but was not officially confirmed for the Raw roster.
Knight also has a match set against Seth Rollins, CM Punk and Jey Uso for WWE Clash in Paris 2025.
And now, the official WWE Raw roster page on the company’s official website has updated LA Knight under Raw, which confirms the news.

Sami Zayn Drafted to SmackDown
Sami Zayn shocked the entire WWE universe with his presence on SmackDown after SummerSlam in his hometown of Montreal, Quebec.
After pinning Solo on SmackDown after SummerSlam, Sami appeared on the August 15 SmackDown episode, where he confirmed that he’s officially on the WWE SmackDown roster.
And it looks like we might see him face Solo Sikoa at WWE Clash in Paris 2025 for the United States Championship.
I think it’s a good move by WWE to move Sami to SmackDown as there wasn’t any major rival for him. He was involved in a feud with Karrion Kross, but as the superstar’s contract expired, the rivalry also ended.
