Kevin was banned by WWE to enter the arena after he attacked Cody Rhodes at the backstages of WWE Bad Blood; despite that, he entered the arena and confronted Cody.
Kevin interrupted the SmackDown schedule and claimed that it was Cody who betrayed him and turned on him at the backstages of WWE Bad Blood.
He further added that the recent connection of Cody with Roman Reigns in bad blood was a sign of betrayal by the undisputed champion.
Looking at the frustration Randy Orton came to calm down Kevin Owens, but Kevin elbowed him, and Randy didn’t hold himself back; he gave an elbow back to Kevin, which shocked him, and he left the ring without speaking a word.

During this confrontation, Randy appealed to Cody to leave and even tried to calm Kevin down, but that wasn’t enough to balance the situation.
Kevin Owens decided to turn on Randy Orton too at the backstage, and the WWE officials came to separate the two.
