On Tuesday night, the NXT vs. TNA Showdown event took place, where we saw a complete clash between the rosters of both brands.
TNA Men’s and NXT Women’s won their respective Survivor Series WarGames Matches.
But the highlight of the event was that the Hardy Boyz won the NXT tag team titles by defeating NXT’s Dark State.
Here’s the complete update.
The Hardy Boyz won the NXT Tag titles at Showdown

A winner-takes-all TNA and NXT tag team championship match was scheduled between the Hardys and NXT’s Dark State members.
Ahead of their match on October 7, the Hardys were attacked by all four members of the Dark State, as a result of which James and Shugars were banned from the ringside, which left a pure 2 vs 2 contest for all the fans.
In the audience, the Dudley Boyz, who’ll face the Hardys at TNA Bound for Glory, and TNA president Carlos Silva were spotted.
In the last moments of the match, Dark State members tried to deliver a double-team “doomsday” move on Matt, but he countered and delivered a “twist of fate” to Osiris Griffin.
Lennox tried to jump on Matt from the top rope, but the TNA legend moved quickly aside, which gave him another opportunity as he delivered a “Twist of Fate” to Lennox this time.
At last, Matt tagged his brother, and Jeff delivered a “Swanton Bomb” on Dion Lennox to secure the pin and win the NXT tag team championships.
With this win, the Hardy Boyz took both TNA tag titles along with the NXT tag team championships at their home.
So that was the quick highlight of the NXT Tag Team Championship won by the Hardy Boyz at the NXT TNA Showdown 2025.
