A latest match has been added for AEW Forbidden Door 2025, which is set for August 24 at O2 in London.
Here we are with the latest and confirmed AEW Forbidden Door 2025 card after the August 16 AEW Collision tapings.
During the latest AEW Collision tapings, Nigel McGuinness won a fatal four-way match to become the number one contender for Zack Sabre‘s IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
Confirmed AEW Forbidden Door 2025 Card
Below are all the confirmed matches for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025.
1) Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Nigel McGuinness: IWGP World Heavyweight Championship Match
McGuinness won the fatal four-way match at AEW Collision tapings against Daniel Garcia, Lee Moriarty, and Hechicero and will head to Forbidden Door to face Zack Sabre Jr.
2) Hangman Page vs. MJF: AEW World Heavyweight Championship Match
Hangman has accepted MJF’s challenge and will face his challenger on August 24.
3) Golden Lovers, Darby Allin, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Will Ospreay vs. Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley, The Young Bucks, and Gabe Kidd: Lights Out Steel Cage Match
A special 10-man tag team match with a special lights-out steel cage stipulation is set for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025.
4) Kazuchika Okada vs. Swerve Strickland: AEW Unified Championship Match
Swerve is the next challenger for the first-ever AEW Unified Champion, Kazuchika Okada, at AEW Forbidden Door.
5) Toni Storm vs. Athena: TNA Women’s Championship Match
Athena won the Gauntlet match and earned the opportunity for the AEW Women’s World Title against Toni Storm at Forbidden Door 2025.
Next in our AEW Forbidden Door 2025 Card we have:
6) Hurt Syndicate vs. Brodido or FTR: AEW Tag Team Championship MatchÂ
The Hurt Syndicate will defend their AEW tag titles against Brodido or FTR at Forbidden Door.
7) Kyle Fletcher vs. Hiromu Takahashi: AEW TNT Championship Match
Hiromu will try to get his hands on the TNT title, but he needs to overcome the odd named Kyle Fletcher at Forbidden Door to crown himself as the champ.
8) Adam Copeland and Christian Cage vs. Kip Sabian and Nick Wayne
Adam and Christian recently got a patch-up since 2011, and now this duo is set to take on Kip and Nick at AEW Forbidden Door 2025.
Apart from these matches, Mercedes Moné’s TBS Championship opponents are yet to be finalised.
