The legendary tag team and the current TNA and NXT tag team champions, “The Hardy Boyz,” can soon turn out to be free agents as their contracts are nearing expiration.
Apart from Matt and Jeff Hardy, The Inspiration and Cedric Alexander will soon have their TNA contracts expiring, and the same report comes out for the TNA tag team champions.
Here’s the full report.
The Hardy Boyz Contract Status

As per Sean Ross of Fightful Select, The Hardys don’t have a contract renewal with TNA yet, so they can soon be seen as free agents in pro wrestling.
The last time the Hardys had a contract renewal was back in 2024, and Fightful Select confirms it to be a one-year contract, which means there are a few weeks to months left for the contract expiration of the tag champs.
We all know that the contribution by The Hardy Boyz in TNA is immeasurable, not only in the ring, but also because the duo has stayed long in the promotion for meet and greets.
With still time in hand, TNA could approach the veterans once again, or else we might see them performing under other promotions in 2025 itself.
The Hardys have recently conquered the NXT Tag Team titles at the NXT vs. TNA showdown event. The 3-decade-long presence of Matt and Jeff doesn’t seem to be stopping soon.
