Alberto Del Rio has already started making headlines, ahead of his match with El Hijo Del Vikingo.

Del Rio was invited for an early morning show by the Venga la Alegría team, featuring on TV Azteca, but the show took a drastic turn, as the star attacked one of the team members of the interviewers.

The interview began on a good note but suddenly, took the shape of a heated show as Alberto got involved in an altercation with a member of Venga La Alegría.

During one of the key segments, of the interview, Del Rio lost control of his anger and attacked a member of the crew badly.

Viewers were shocked and witnessed the star attacking with punches and ripping the shirt of the crew member.

Later Alberto Del Rio was stopped by the team members and security personnel to settle things.

Apart from the attack, Del Rio targeted his challenger, Vikingo, and his father by making, some bold statements during the interview.

This unprofessional behaviour by the former WWE superstar went viral across Mexican news and media, with many calling it a publicity stunt by the star.

Alberto Del Rio is scheduled to defend his AAA Mega Championship against El Hijo Del Vikingo on May 31, 2025, and this attack seems to be a stunt to attract eyeballs ahead of WWE Worlds Collide 2025.
