One of the biggest matches for AEW Wrestle Dynasty 2025 will take place between Claudio Castagnoli and Shota Umino. Both the superstars have some mutual connections with each other, as Shota was a former member of Jon Moxley’s Death Riders faction.
Umino’s breakup with the death riders has led to a personal rivalry between him and members of the death riders, which makes the match more interesting to watch out for.
Initially, Jon Moxley was likely to face Umino, but he has sent his reknown teammate Claudio to defeat Umino.
Jon wants Claudio to beat Shota really badly so that he regrets the betrayal that he did with the Deathriders Faction.
While Umino has an equal opportunity against one of the strongest AEW superstars, and there’s nothing impossible for him as we have already seen him performing in the ring.
Kenny Omega vs. Gabe KiddÂ
The second big match at the upcoming AEW Wrestle Dynasty 2025 is the match between Kenny Omega and Gabe Kidd.
The rivalry between the two started at the backstage of NJPW’s power struggle event, and at Tokyo Dome, Kenny Omega will return in action after an 18-year gap at AEW Wrestle Dynasty 2025.
Things for Kenny Omega don’t look simple as of now, as he hasn’t wrestled in the past 396 days; his last appearance in NJPW was in 2023. But with his inring return, fans are excited for their favorite superstar and won’t be surprised if he wins the match.
On the other side of the contest we have Gabe Kidd, who has a rising superstar in the NJPW, and his competition with Omega adds more strength to his wrestling career.
