Recently, during an interview with The Rich Eisen Show, Punk revealed some BTS of his return to WWE. CM said that while driving his way to the arena, he was tensed too much.
The deal between his and WWE wasn’t officially finalized, but despite that, he decided to head towards the arena. He also added that his wife, AJ Lee, was really excited for his return.
Punk added that after reaching the arena, he was given a hoodie and a sweatshirt by the security and was requested to be in his car to maintain secrecy.
Making his way to the hallwayÂ
While adding more details, CM Punk said that while he was sitting with nervousness in his vehicle, he saw a vehicle with an image of Steve Austin on it, which he clicked and sent to Stone Cold, who replied with excitement.
As Punk made his way directly to the arena, the lawyers of the best in the world were working really hard to confirm the deal with WWE as the nervousness was building more strongly.

Meeting Fellow Faces after Contract FinalizationÂ
CM Punk’s long wait in his car came to an end as the contract between him and WWE was finally booked. Later, he was taken directly to the area where he met his fellow WWE superstars.
Punk revealed that the first person that he met was Bayley, who welcomed him and expressed her excitement for the return of the best in the world.
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon also welcomed him, which created an emotional atmosphere in the arena, and after that, the music hit really hard and it was punk time.
CM was clueless about how to respond. Despite that, he just went right away to meet his loyal fans, who were continuously cheering for their hero.
