Swerve, who’s been a powerful world champ, was recently sidelined by AEW, and now, after he challenged Okada for the match, it seems that things are falling in place for him.

2) Toni Storm vs. Athena: AEW Women’s World Championship Match

Toni Storm was the superstar who finally stopped Mercedes Mone in AEW.

Storm shattered the dreams of Mone of becoming women’s world champ, and on the same night, Athena won the women’s Gauntlet match and booked her title match for AEW Forbidden Door.

For your information, Athena is the current ROH Women’s World Champion.

Recently, at an AEW Dynamite episode, Athena secured a win over Toni via pinfall in a singles match and later confirmed that she’ll use her contract to face Storm at Forbidden Door 2025.

So now we have the second match booked between these two ladies, for which I’m excited.
