3 Huge Matches Booked for WWE NXT Heatwave 2025 Match Card

WWE NXT Heatwave 2025 is scheduled for August 24, 2025, at the Lowell Massachusetts Auditorium in Massachusetts, and now two title and one singles matches are set for the PLE.

So, let’s jump right into the update we have around the WWE NXT Heatwave 2025 match card.

Two of the three matches announced don’t have the opponents finalised, but we’ll get the updates about them soon.

1) Blake Monroe vs. Jordynne Grace

The first and confirmed contest for the WWE NXT Heatwave 2025 Match Card is scheduled between Monroe and Grace.

The story between these two ladies started back in Evolution 2025, where Blake attacked Jordynne and cost her the women’s title against Jacy Jayne.

After that incident, Monroe was seen delivering multiple promos targeting the former TNA Knockouts World Champion.

Monroe said that Jordynne isn’t glamorous enough to be the women’s champion, which directly targets her looks.

Later, Monroe attacked Grace with DDT on a steel chair, which led to a neck injury, but there’s good news: Jordynne will be medically cleared until Heatwave 2025.

In the August 5 episode of NXT, GM Ava booked the match for Heatwave, allowing Jordynne to complete her revenge on Monroe.

2) Hank Walker and Tank Ledger vs. Two Members of Dark State

Hank and Tank successfully defended their NXT tag titles against Chase U during the August 5 episode, but were then attacked by The Dark State members.

Hank and Tank, looking for redemption, will get the chance to get their hands on Dark State as they put their titles on the line at NXT Heatwave 2025 against two members of the new faction.

3) Oba Femi vs. Je’Von Evans or Trick Williams

At the August 5 episode of NXT, we saw Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, and Moose arguing about who would get the opportunity to face Femi at NXT Heatwave.

So, Ava declared a No. 1 contender match for Femi’s title between Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans for the NXT episode that takes place in Philadelphia two weeks after the August 5 episode.

Later on that night, Dark State attacked Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, and Moose.

So, we don’t have the confirmed opponents for Femi’s NXT title and Hank and Tank’s tag titles, but we’ll find that out in the coming days for sure.
